Located in the heart of Anchorage, LifeWorks Downtown offers a vibrant and welcoming space for adult day services in one of the areas most unique and historic buildings. This unique location blends character and care, with beautiful architectural details that reflect the warmth and personality of the community we serve. It is also home to our Program Manager and Case Management Department.

Our downtown center is more than just a place for services — it’s a social hub. Inside, members can enjoy our expansive, café-style lounge, where they can order fresh coffee, tea, or hot cocoa throughout the day. The café atmosphere encourages connection, conversation, and comfort—whether you're starting your morning with a warm drink or enjoying downtime with friends between activities.

Conveniently located near central Anchorage amenities, LifeWorks Downtown is easily accessible and designed to feel like a second home. It’s a space where care meets community, and where every detail has been thoughtfully curated to support the dignity, independence, and joy of the individuals we serve.

Welcome to LifeWorks Lodge, a warm and welcoming Members~only lodge located in Anchorage, Alaska. Established in 2018, LifeWorks Lodge offers a safe and engaging space for adults to connect, relax, and thrive. This Midtown location is also home to our Dispatch and Transportation hub.

Our space is designed for adults who are seeking meaningful connection, daily enrichment, and shared experiences with others. Whether you’re a veteran, a hobbyist, or simply looking for a friendly environment to enjoy your day, you’ll find your place here.

Nestled in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley, LifeWorks Valley offers a warm and inviting space where adults can gather, engage, and thrive. Located in Wasilla, this beautiful center reflects the spirit of the Valley—community-focused, comfortable, and full of heart.

The facility features two cozy café areas, where members can enjoy freshly brewed coffee, soothing tea, and comforting hot cocoa throughout the day. These welcoming spaces are designed to encourage social interaction, relaxation, and connection between participants and staff.

Thoughtfully decorated with cozy touches that feel like home, the Valley location provides a nurturing environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. Our dedicated team of friendly, compassionate staff makes everyone who walks through the door feel valued, seen, and supported. This location is home to the CEO, HR, Program Manger, and Accounting departments.

As our newest addition to the LifeWorks family, this location blends familiarity with fresh energy, continuing our tradition of person-centered care in the Mat-Su Valley.

LifeWorks Life Skills Program

The LifeWorks Life Skills Program in Palmer, Alaska is a fully renovated, thoughtfully designed center created specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities to grow, connect, and thrive. Every detail of our space has been reimagined to provide a safe, welcoming, and uplifting environment where participants feel comfortable, confident, and valued.

Our program focuses on strengthening daily living skills, fostering independence, and building meaningful community connections. Through structured instruction and hands-on practice, participants develop practical abilities such as communication, decision-making, self-care, social interaction, money management, and vocational readiness. Learning is experiential, engaging, and paced to meet each individual exactly where they are.

At LifeWorks, we believe growth happens in environments built on steady encouragement and mutual respect. Our team approaches each day with patience, consistency, and a deep commitment to building trust. We understand that skill development takes time, repetition, and reassurance. Participants are supported by professionals who honor their strengths, celebrate progress, and provide guidance with calm, steady confidence.

Welcome to LifeWorks Adult Day Services, a compassionate community dedicated to enriching the lives of adults in Southcentral Alaska. Founded by The Doland family in 1999, we provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where participants can thrive socially, physically, and emotionally.

Our centers provide a range of person-centered services, including life skills development, recreational activities, social engagement, health monitoring, and caregiver respite. We are dedicated to fostering independence while also promoting a strong sense of community, inclusion, and respect among our participants and staff.
